Hello,
a bit about me:
My name is Michael Roy Johnson. I have worked in lots of different areas of sound engineering and post production. Starting my journey as a musician before moving into live sound and music production. With my passion for film and video games it was inevitable that I would eventually find myself working in audio post production. I have worked in many different areas within audio post, such as: Sound Effects Designer and Editor, Supervising Sound Editor/Mixer for both short and feature length fiction, animation and documentary films. Foley and FX recording, Field Recording, Audio Editor, ADR recording, Dialogue Editor and Audio Implementation for a VR game using the Unity Engine and Fmod.
I have a BA in Audio Production from SAE Institute, and I earned my MA in Sound Design for Visual Media at the National Film & Television School. During my time at the NFTS I was a fortunate recipient of a scholarship from both BAFTA and the BBC.
